Proud of this city and proud of all those who participated in #TheLongestWalkRNC and all others who shared their opinions for the world to see. In America we can have a conversation and we shouldn’t be afraid of being shot or killed for our beliefs. Yes, the police presents was overwhelming and scary. Yes, seeing people who weren’t police with guns was intense and unsettling after all this country has been through, but our voices were still heard tonight and this week. Whatever your opinion, let’s try to see the best in the world as well as criticize what is broken. Do not forget to hold on to those best moments, because being broken means nothing without them.
